Green Zone 2010

The Dead Zone 2002

The Dead Zone, aka Stephen King's Dead Zone was an American-Canadian science fiction/suspense series starring Anthony Michael Hall as Johnny Smith, who discovers he has developed psychic abilities after a coma. The show, credited as "based on characters" from Stephen King's 1979 novel of the same name, first aired in 2002, and was produced by Lionsgate Television and CBS Paramount Network Television for the USA Network. The show was originally commissioned for UPN, but the network later dropped the show and it was picked up instead by USA. The series was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for its first five seasons. The sixth and last season was billed as "The season that changes everything" and production was moved to Montreal. The Dead Zone was expected to be renewed for a seventh season, however due to low ratings and high production cost the series was canceled in December 2007, without a proper series finale. Some rumors spread that Syfy would pick up the series after it was canceled by USA, but it did not happen. Rumors of a made for TV movie have all but faded with time.

Spiral Zone 1987

Spiral Zone is a 1987 American science-fiction animated series produced by Atlantic-Kushner-Locke. Based in part from a toy line made by Japanese company Bandai, the series focused on an international group of soldiers fighting to free the world from a scientist who controls much of the Earth's surface. It only ran for one season, with a total count of 65 episodes. Tonka acquired the license from Bandai and created a different treatment to the series, plus a short-lived toy line. Spiral Zone is known among fans as a series that stood out from other contemporary cartoons of the 80s because of its dark story. The series has not been officially released on DVD by Hasbro, who had acquired Tonka in the 90s, including all the copyrights to their properties.

The Zone is the name given to a shopping and gaming channel on Freeview. The channel is an interactive gaming and home shopping programming block, with gaming segments from Jackpot247, and teleshopping segments from JML. On 7 November 2011, a placeholder caption appeared on Freeview channel 39, broadcasting on multiplex A, stating "The Zone: Coming soon, The place to shop and play". The Burning Zone is a television drama broadcast on the UPN network as part of its 1996–97 lineup. It ran for 19 episodes. The series was rerun on SciFi Channel in the mid-to-late 1990s. The Burning Zone featured a team of American agents who could be almost instantly dispatched almost anywhere in the world to fight biological warfare and naturally occurring biohazards. The series is believed to be cashing in on the success of the New York Times bestseller The Hot Zone, which spawned biological disaster movies like Outbreak. There was a villainous organization known as "The Dawn" that was responsible for some of the threats the team faced. The members of "The Dawn" were shadowy and never fully exposed but their goals and aims were clear: To allow disease and pestilence of a biological nature restore the Earth by rendering extinct the most virulent pestilence of all—mankind.

Crash Zone 1999

Crash Zone is an Australian children's science fiction television series which aired on the Seven Network from 1999 to 2001. It was produced by Australian Children's Television Foundation, in association with the Disney Channel, and ran for 26 episodes. The series starred five high school students, "high-tech whiz kids" of varied backgrounds, who are hired by the president of the Catalyst software company to save her failing business. The premise of the series was unique in that it was one of the first series to examine the early use of the internet as well as the video game industry and artificial intelligence.

Cool Zone

Cool Zone was an Australian television series which was broadcast on community television station, C31 Adelaide in Adelaide, South Australia. The show was aimed at a wide demographic with a focus on teenagers and was hosted by M-Cool. Each episode lasted for approximately five minutes plus commercials. Cool Zone consisted of numerous segments per episode but usually a consistent subject matter and shoot location. The program first aired in August 2005 with C31 commissioning a first season run of 24 episodes. Despite a cult following the program was axed after just four weeks and replaced by repeats of the SA Sports Show. Several Australian commercial networks expressed interest in picking up Cool Zone in 2006 but could not reach agreement with M-Cool.
